About Startpunt Wageningen

How we help you depends on your question. Do you have a simple question? Then we will help you immediately at the counter or by phone. Do you have a more extensive question, for example about arranging care? Then we will be happy to make an appointment with you for a meeting.

The interview takes place at your home, at the Startpunt or at another location. Whatever you prefer. We give information and advice about your question. We will tell you which organisation can help you. Or help you arrange for care. Often, one conversation is enough but sometimes more conversations are necessary.

You will receive a report of the interview. This contains the agreements made. Is there, after the meeting, help needed for which a decision of the municipality is necessary, for example the Social Support Act or Jeugdhulp? Then the report will be sent to the counsellor who will deal with your request.

Since January 1, 2024, Startpunt Wageningen no longer has a lending point for Medipoint care aids.

As of March 1, there is a new location in Wageningen where you can pick up and return care aids. This is possible at Compleet Mensenwerk. You can borrow and rent care aids. These are care aids that are needed for a maximum of six months. You are welcome during opening hours without an appointment.

What are the opening hours?

From 1 March the opening hours of the lending point at Compleet Mensenwerk are Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm.

There does not have to be a problem in order to make use of the Walk-in Youth and Family. The Walk-ins offer a listening ear. And, if you wish, free advice on what to do in your situation. One or more sessions can often prevent the situation from becoming more difficult for your family or for you as a young person.

What questions?

Walk-in Jeugd en Gezin can help you with many different questions. Think for example of:

• Dealing with arguments or a difference of opinion in the home situation.
• Support in setting limits in parenting.
• Developing more self-confidence.
• Dealing with difficult emotions such as sadness, fear or anger.
• Reaching an agreement with your (ex) partner about the upbringing.

When and where

You are welcome on Friday from 9.00 to 13.00 hours at Startpunt, Rooseveltweg 408a Wageningen. It is free for residents of Wageningen.
